Senior Executives Gain Further Training with Alltech's Mini-MBA

[Dublin, Ireland] - Alltech, a leader in animal nutrition, has developed a tailored mini-MBA training programme for the company's senior executives in conjunction with the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, University College Dublin, one of Europe’s leading business schools.

The Alltech mini-MBA was developed in 2000 and is instrumental in communicating the culture of Alltech and in refining the company’s focus and global strategy. The programme consists of four main modules as well as four brief refresher courses. Each module is taught through a combination of lectures, group and individual assignments and case studies. The modules focus on strategy, leadership, communication and strategic performance.

The main modules take place in Dublin at August of each year and annual refresher courses are held in Lexington, Kentucky, USA in advance of Alltech's International Feed Industry Symposium. Over the past two weeks over 80 employees from around the world have attended the various modules in Ireland.

"The programme combines academic and research excellence with practical insights. It bridges the gap between leading-edge thinking and real-world decision making," explained Aidan Connolly, vice president of Alltech Europe. He further added that "Due to the intensive nature of the programme and its emphasis on powerful teamwork, candidates find that they learn not just with their colleagues, but from them too."

Alltech is the proud sponsor of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ to be held in Kentucky, USA, in 2010.
